The standard stainless steel model (SKH100SS) is manufactured in 304 grade stainless steel, which provides excellent corrosion resistance for most food, industrial, and chemical applications.

For more aggressive environments or higher corrosion resistance requirements, 316 grade stainless steel is available on request. If required, please request a quote by contacting East West Engineering.

The hopper is fitted with a 300mm slide valve, allowing operators to precisely control discharge flow for safe, efficient and controlled material handling.

The SKH range is available in a 0.25 cubic metre (SKH100) and 1 cubic metre (SKH200) capacity model.

Material can be dispensed from a bulk bag into the SKH100 Bulk Bag Hopper in a few ways. Bulk bags are often lifted and discharged using a crane or forklift jib. Alternatively, using the SKX100 Bulk Bag Frame provides a more stable and secure solution. Stacking feet allow fast and easy placement. The frame holds the bulk bag open and properly positioned above the hopper, allowing material to be safely discharged while improving control, reducing handling risks, and protecting the bag from damage.

Yes. The SKH100 can be fitted with an optional SKH-BP Bag Piercing Knife, which is designed to efficiently open and discharge material from bulk bags directly into the hopper. This helps speed up unloading and improves material flow, particularly when bags are not pre-cut or have limited discharge openings.

Yes. The system can also operate in reverse. By positioning the SKX100 Bulk Bag Frame underneath the SKH100 hopper, a bulk bag can be held open below the outlet. Material stored in the hopper can then be dispensed directly into the bulk bag using the slide valve, creating a simple and controlled bulk bag filling station.
