Concrete and grout kibbles for construction and civil sites
Pouring concrete safely and efficiently starts with the right equipment. A quality concrete kibble improves placement accuracy, reduces waste and keeps concrete flowing to where it’s needed on busy construction and civil sites.
East West Engineering supplies a range of concrete and grout kibbles designed for Australian conditions, with solutions to suit different pour volumes, site layouts and lifting methods.
Choosing the right concrete kibble for your pour type and site
Selecting the right concrete or grout kibble depends on the type of pour, required capacity and site access. Stand-up kibbles are ideal where suitable filling access is available, while laydown models suit larger capacities and allow direct filling from concrete agitator trucks where an elevated loading platform isn’t available.
Discharge options are equally important. Clamshell gates are suited to faster bulk pours, while slide valves provide greater control of concrete flow for applications such as formwork and columns where greater precision is required. Hydraulic operation can allow the operator to control discharge from a safer or more suitable position where direct access to the kibble is restricted.
Capacity, filling orientation and hydraulic operation
East West Engineering supplies concrete kibbles from 0.5 m³ to 5.1 m³, with stand-up and laydown configurations to suit different site conditions and filling methods.
The CKM range includes 0.5 m³, 1.0 m³ and 1.5 m³ stand-up models designed for direct filling from concrete agitator trucks. CKROF laydown models are available in 2.0 m³ and 3.0 m³ capacities, allowing direct truck filling where sufficient space is available. For larger capacities or where a laydown configuration isn’t suitable, CKV models are available in 2.0 m³ and 5.1 m³ capacities and are designed for filling from an elevated loading platform.
kibble concrete buckets can be configured for hydraulic operation, with a hydraulic power pack allowing remote discharge. The CKV range is supplied with hydraulic operation as standard. Discharge options include clamshell gates and slide valves, with clamshell models also available with a concrete funnel and layflat hose for controlled discharge into wall cavities, columns and narrow formwork.

Concrete kibble certification and documentation for construction sites
Concrete kibbles are lifting equipment that need to be correctly rated and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and applicable site requirements.
East West Engineering concrete kibbles are designed and certified for their intended applications and supplied with an Instruction Manual, including a Risk Assessment and relevant safety documentation to support safe operation on site.
